Epic Chic Country Wedding Shindig under the stars and a 150-year old Oak Tree

Jessica & Jason – a couple from Bakersfield, CA with busy lives already – Jessica wanted full planning help with their private estate wedding. They knew the owners of this amazing property in Napa Valley. Jessica had a vision for more than just a country wedding. I worked feverishly with her to create what we’ll call a “Country Chic” wedding, complete with bridesmaids in steel-gray lace and cowboy boots, throws of burlap mixed with deep reds and oranges in the flowers provided by Seasons Floral Designs. We made it happen.
A Napa Valley Country Wedding – Calling on my “Dream Team!”
Armed with help from my dream team of Christophe Genty Photography, David Schloss’ Inventive Films, Fumé Bistro’s highly adept catering skills, La Tavola Fine Linens and Classic Party Rentals mixed with dramatic draping and lighting by The Luxe Productions, and combined with her “DIY fun” details, we pulled off a magical Napa Valley destination wedding her friends and family can remember forever.
Taking advantage of the sweeping boughs of the property’s regal +150 year old oak tree, we strung a full 8-foot crystal chandelier. Then expertly framed it with about 100′ of sheer draping. This served two purposes for her vision:
It provided a stunning focal point
for the late afternoon ceremony.
Then provided warmth and ambience
as the reception poured on through the night.
They danced the night away under the stars. And enjoyed s’mores around the fire pits. As you can see by the gallery below, this truly was an epic Country Wedding!
